How does it work?
Microdermabrasion is an advanced facial which removes dead skin cells, it also exfoliate and reveal fresh skin cells on the surface, as a result it leaves soft and smooth feeling skin.
During the treatment, your skin is cleansed and prepped before your practitioner use a Diamond tipped wand to abrade the surface of your skin. The gentle vacuum stimulates the underlying epidermis to promote new collagen production – invigorating blood flow to the surface. A mask and post treatment serums are applied to leave your skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth.

Microdermabrasion is a great treatment for the face, but it can also be used to treat many other body areas. The most common body area is back. Microdermabrasion can remove these dead skin cells and leave the area feeling soft and smooth.
What results can I expect?
Microdermabrasion removes dead skin cells from the skin and stimulates blood flow on the surface and helps in creating new collagen. As a result skin feels refreshed, smooth and much brighter after the treatment.
Prior to the treatment, please advise the clinic of any recent sun exposure, or application of fake tan. Avoid using retinol, glycolic or salycylic acid products for 1 – 2 weeks prior to treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending on your concern, the number of treatments will be advised in your consultation. Microdermabrasion is a great starting treatment for many skin concerns, including dull and lifeless skin. On average scale we recommend a course of treatments is needed between 3 – 6 sessions.
After this treatment, we always recommend the use of gently exfoliate and brighten skin products. This will enhance and maintain the effects of the treatment.
