Terms and Conditions

Set out below are the terms on which New Era Skin Aesthetics provides service to its clients. Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatment.

  • All Practitioners at New Era Skin Aesthetics LTD are trained NVQ level 3 or above Laser & Beauty Therapists.
  • All Practitioners are registered and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment and manufacturer protocols.

Appointments and Cancellations

  • New Era Skin Aesthetics does not guarantee appointment dates or times, these are subject to availability, however, we will try our best to accommodate the clients as best as we can.
  • If a client is unable to attend their appointment, we require 48 hours’ notice. The notice must be given during the clinic opening hours; Monday – Friday: 10 am – 7 pm, Saturday: 10 am – 5 pm, Sunday: closed.
  • Failure to give the required 48 hours’ notice will result in losing booking/consultation fee. If client wishes to rebook, they will be charged a re-booking fee of GBP £50.
  • Clients who have purchased a course of treatment but fail to attend their appointment/s without giving 48 hours’ notice will not be entitled to a refund, should there be any, for their missed treatment.
  • Clients are required to arrive 10 – 15 minutes in advance for their first consultation appointment so that the consultation paperwork can be completed; the details of which are for our use only and kept confidential.
  • The late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or forfeiting of the appointment. New Era Skin Aesthetics will always endeavour to ensure that the appointment runs to time and will endeavour to keep the clients informed of any delays. Should we need to cancel or postpone a client’s appointment at short notice, we will make every effort to contact them in advance.
  • Prior to a client’s appointment, we will inform them of any preparation required. Failure to follow the guide lines may result in cancellation of appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged.
  • Any client who requires treatment and brings a child with them must also be accompanied by another adult to chaperone the child whilst the client is being treated. Failure to bring an adult chaperone with any child will result in the treatment being cancelled and loss of the value pack treatment or deposit. No children under the age of 16 years must be left unattended within the clinic at any time.

Treatment Suitability

  • We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for the client, or likely to be successful, prior to any treatment being carried out. If not, we will inform the client as to the reasons why. They will only be liable for the cost of the initial consultation, where applicable.
  • All tattoos/pigmentation/scars must be fully covered prior to any laser treatments.
  • Clients are required to inform us of any changes to their medical condition before the commencement of each treatment session. Changes in medical conditions can affect the treatment results and certain conditions can make an individual unsuitable for the some treatments. New Era Skin Aesthetics will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of client’s failure to disclose such information.

Laser Treatments & Packages

  • All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment, unless instalments option is agreed by us. All treatment courses must be taken within 15 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 15 months will be forfeited.
  • Please shave the area on the day of the treatment, failure to do so will result in a lost session.
  • By purchasing a course of treatments, a client will enter into a contract with New Era Skin Aesthetics.
  • If a client fails to attend their appointment and have not given us 48 hours’ notice, then they will lose their treatment session.
  • If a client is late without any prior notice for their appointment and or treatment areas are self or sun tanned, or unshaven, the session will be forfeited and no refund or alternative appointment will be offered.
  • Once a multiple area treatment package or single area treatment package has started, treatment areas cannot be swapped.
  • In any case, unused treatment sessions cannot be transferred to any friend or family member.

Skincare Treatments

  • For maximum results, recommended homecare routine must be followed. Altering the routine or use of products not provided by New Era can alter or inhibited the results.
  • Due to hygiene reasons, skincare products purchased in clinic are non-refundable in any circumstances.
  • The practice of Medicine and Surgery is not an exact science and therefore, the goal of our treatments is improvement, not perfection, and there is no guarantee that anticipated results will be achieved.

Vouchers

  • If a client is booking through one of our promotional offers, they must be ready to provide us the security code over the phone or by email when they are booking their appointment, and also please ensure to bring a copy the voucher into the clinic (where applicable).
  • Please note our voucher deals are, ONE VOUCHER PER CLIENT PER TREATMENT ONLY.
  • Daily deal vouchers are valid for 120 days from date of purchase

Deposit Payments

  • To secure an appointment with New Era Skin Aesthetics a deposit is required. A deposit of £50 will be charged to client’s credit or debit card at the time of booking, in order to secure the appointment.
  • For any subsequent individual treatments a deposit of £50 will be charged. Deposits can be used towards payment for treatment or left on client’s account for future treatments. Should deposits remain unclaimed by the client following twelve months of inactivity New Era Skin Aesthetics reserves the right to withhold the deposit.
  • These charges will not be applied to clients booking an appointment from their existing value package of treatment.

Refunds Policy

We do not offer refunds in any of the following circumstances:

  • Treatment is non-refundable once undertaken. However, if a client is unsatisfied, we will always endeavour to review any treatment that has been undertaken.
  • Voucher campaign or discounted treatments are non-refundable.
  • Treatment is non-refundable should a client become medically unsuitable during treatment or after the first consultation has taken place, a credit or alternative treatment will be offered (where possible) to be used within 12 months. We will ask for written confirmation/medical note from client’s GP in every case to confirm the condition.
  • Value packs are only refundable for medical reasons when doctor’s note is provided. Any refund agreed is calculated by deducting the full list price of all treatments already taken, plus any charges for non-attendance, plus the patch test cost of £35 for laser hair removal treatments, from the total price of the course of treatment, with the difference returned to you.
  • Full priced treatments are non-refundable after 7 days.
  • No refund is offered if a client is permanently relocating to a different city or country and will be unable to attend any further treatment sessions.

Liability

  • New Era Skin Aesthetics will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provides New Era Skin Aesthetics with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. New Era Skin Aesthetics will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
  • The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, New Era Skin Aesthetics regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit New Era Skin Aesthetics liability for death or any personal injury resulting from New Era Skin Aesthetics negligence.

You’re right to complain

New Era Skin Aesthetics endeavours to treat all its clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If however, a client has an issue with any matter in relation to their treatment at New Era Skin Aesthetics, they are entitled to lodge a complaint, either in person, by telephone or in writing. If they require assistance with making their complaint, New Era Skin Aesthetics will be pleased to help and support them through the process.
