[bt_section][bt_row][bt_column width=”1/1″][bt_text]

HydraFacial is the latest patented skin treatment designed to clear impurities, excess oil, and dead skin cells from the skin. The results in smoother skin which is more radiant with an even skin tone. It is mostly performed in medical spas or dermatology clinics and offices. It’s also called hydra-dermabrasion, as the treatment involves microdermabrasion-like exfoliation coupled with hydrating serums.
It is a non-invasive procedure similar to a regular facial one gets from a spa but has long-lasting and noticeable results. A mechanized wand glides over the skin and deeply cleanses, exfoliates, and immerses the skin with intensive hydrating serums according to the skin type. It is used to treat various skin conditions like acne, dryness, wrinkles, pimples, etc.
Steps to Hydrated Skin
Everyone desires hydrated beautiful skin and it is essential to follow some steps to get healthy skin. The procedure promises clearer, more hydrated, younger-looking skin and is performed in 5 steps:
1. Detox
This step increases the lymphatic circulation in your skin, which helps move out toxins and increases blood flow. This provides extra oxygen to invigorate the skin. The skin is hydrated by fresh lymph, restoring tone and firmness.
2. Cleansing and Exfoliation
After the detox, a vacuum-based abrasion tip is used to smooth away dead skin cells while delivering serum directly to the fresh new skin beneath. This serum is filled with ingredients to revitalize and support the skin, such as lactic acid, glucosamine, antioxidants, and botanical extracts, according to each person’s skin type requirement.
3. Acid Peels
In the past, most glycolic peels left the skin stinging or burning for a few minutes until they were washed off, but not this one. This acid peel is gentle enough that it only creates the faintest tingle. It is a non-irritant mix of glycolic and salicylic acid. A nutrient-rich solution is used to hydrate the skin, which deeply penetrates the pores. The solution gets in and loosens debris from deep inside your pores to allow it to be removed later on. It leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed.

4. Extractions
Just like the previous step, this one sounds painful as well. In a traditional facial, the skin would be pinched and pushed to force the debris up out of the skin pores. But in this extraction, a vacuum is used to suck all the debris out of the clogged pores. The acid peel helped to loosen the debris and blackheads, so this suction is best for the pores. This extraction is very gentle and results in pores being clean and tight.

Serum Application
5. Serum Application
This is the last step of the process because it ties the whole treatment together. The wand applies collagen and an antioxidant serum into the skin that promotes hydration and elasticity making the skin supple. This serum helps to remove the wrinkles, fine lines, uneven skin tones, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and oiliness from the skin, leaving the skin soft and plump with moisture.
