Very Superficial Peels
Very superficial peels penetrate to the top layer of the skin and they will be no peeling and no flaking or shedding.
Superficial Peel
Superficial peels penetrate to basal layer and they will stimulate epidermal growth by removal of the stratum corneum. Client may experience mild flaking.
Medium Peels
Medium peels penetrate to the papillary dermis layer and they will produce significant shedding, inducing inflammation in the superficial dermis. It removes the epidermis completely; which is renewed to complete regeneration.

While our client start to see significant improvements in their skin right after one treatment, the actual number of treatments required and the results can vary from person to person. This is discussed in great details during the consultation appointment.
In the beginning, we recommend the treatments to be every 2 weeks apart. However, this can change as the treatment progresses, it all depends on the skin response to the treatment, your practitioner will advice you if there is any change in treatment plan.
Yes, you will need to do skin preparation 2 or 3 weeks before your first treatment session. We will always provide full guidance on how to prepare your skin; this is discussed during your consultation appointment, and we will also provide you the correct skincare kit to take home with you.
Unfortunately, if the skin is not prepped with our home care kit for a minimum of 2 weeks, we are unable to treat the client.
Most of the chemical peels that we use are designed to be pain-free and carry a minimal downtime. It is normal to feel a slight tingling and heat sensation whilst the peel is on your skin. Your practitioner will provide a cooling mask that will help to soothe, protect and hydrate your skin.
